2DWM-2 – The steady exodus of personnel from Two Brothers Mining continued yesterday, as the departure of a long standing and high ranking member signalled yet another slow news day in the New Eden star cluster.

This week saw Cyrus “Tricky77” O’Narah, TBMC’s Director of Previously Operational Structures and Lead Instructor of Sleeping at the Helm of Iteron Transports, join the long list of inactive and former employees who have fled the corporation in recent months, allegedly in the hopes of finding a home far, far away from the desperate, longing gazes and quick hands of Director of Human Resources and newly appointed co-co-co-co-co-co-co-co-cocoa-CEO Kazashini Igropeya.

Things are heating up on Fulvus, the forth planet in the Kogan system and the host of the MMMCDLV Olympic Games.  Athletes from the Deltan Federation, Star Fold Confederacy, and Centaurus are anxious to take home the gold and prove their scion’s status as the best of the galaxy.  In addition to the omnipresent political element, the planet Fulvus itself contributes to the “venomous atmosphere”.

Sui Stadium, the main venue of the games, floats miles above the Fulvian surface, suspended by the oxygen in the structure.  This is possible because Fulvus’s atmosphere is so dense that the usual mix of nitrogen and oxygen is a lifting gas.  Most Fulvians have never actually seen the surface, always shrouded in clouds of sulfur.

JITA – The claws of industry have reached in every direction, but for far too long the planets have escaped their grasp.  Now, thanks to over a century of intense research and development by some of the brightest scientist and engineers in the cluster, the technology allowing industrial tycoons to lift stuff has arrived.

“This is a momentous accomplishment,” says Dr. Palinkazs Dömötör, the lead researcher on Dömötör Industries’ Great Dömötör Insertion and Removal of Terrain project.  “We now have, for the first time ever, the ability to break up, turn over, or remove materials from objects larger than moons.”

“Now all we need is a technology that allows us to successfully mine null-sec veldspar asteroids.”

She caught sight of him again as the cabin doors closed behind her. He had changed his clothes, but they still marked him as an outsider - garish bright colours clashed with the sombre earth tones of her fellow passengers. It was the third time in a cycle she had seen him, shaved head and horns like something out of fashion disaster vids from a hundred years ago.
